Description
It occurred to me today, while waiting for some feedback from a friend about a portrait I'm doing for her D&D campaign character, that I've never rendered a fairy of any kind. I have fairy wing models, I just haven't gotten around to it.
So, I sat down and put this together. I didn't want a traditional, scantily clad forest fae, and I wanted her to look pretty much 'normal', with actual clothes - not leaves, and long hair instead of the customary up-do. I wanted the wings to be the only thing setting her apart from a fantasy render. In the end, I'm content with how it came out, seeing as I just plumped down on my chair and made it in an evening, whereas I usually spend days if not weeks finding the right expression for any kind of image.
